Once you have supplied an asset as collateral into K-Lend, you can start borrowing. Borrowing consists of the following steps:
Select the asset you want to borrow, then click on the Borrow button.
Borrow APY indicates how much yearly interest you will have to pay on your debt
Input the amount you want to borrow, then review the impact it will have on your LTV. You can borrow up to a maximum LTV amount, which is determined by the specific assets you are supplying/borrowing. A higher LTV moves your position closer to liquidation, whereas a lower LTV makes your position safer from liquidation.
The impact of a borrowing action on your position will also be reflected in the Position Details at the top of the lending market. For example:
Note that borrowing entails liquidation risk. If your borrowed assets increase in value compared to your collateral, or your collateral loses value compared to your debt, you move closer to liquidation.
