Using Squads

Kamino is integrated with the Squads product suite, which enables any Squads Multisig to deposit into Kamino via the Squads X browser extension.

Below we walk through the Squads setup and how to use Kamino with Squads.

Squads X Setup

To get started with Squads X, two things are required:

1. Squads Multisig

2. Squads Business Subscription ($49 Monthly)

Once the above is in place, you can start your Squads X setup - which will enable your multisig to interact with Kamino:

1. Download Squads X browser extension: squads.so/extension

2. Generate an access code on Squads, and paste it into your Squads X extension

3. Set up your password

4. Paste your Squads X key into Squads

5. Execute the "Add Squads X" transaction on your Squad

Once this is done, you can head over to Kamino.

Using Squads on Kamino

Step 1: Fee Relayer Setup

Before making your first Squads transaction on Kamino, you can enable the Squads X fee relayer

Enabling the Fee Relayer allows any gas fees to be paid directly from your Squads SOL balance, enabling a much smoother transaction UX

1. When prompted to enable fee relayer, you will be redirected to your Squads Settings

2. Click to enable Fee Relayer

3. In your Squads Transactions, execute the fee relayer transaction

Step 2: Depositing into Kamino

Once fee relayer is enabled, you can go ahead and deposit into Kamino with Squads X

1. Select your deposit amount and confirm the transaction

2. Go to your Squads Transactions and execute the Kamino transaction

Once executed, you'll see your deposit live in the Kamino UI
